Moringa

Moringa oleifera is a fast growing tree found in plenty throughout Sri Lanka. It has been valued for its health benefits for thousands of years. Every part of the tree including the bark, flowers, leaves, roots, fruits, seeds etc. have been used in the preparation of medicines. Moringa leaves are known to be highly nutrient rich while the dried form gives even a higher value of nutrition than the raw leaves. Widely known as ‘The Miracle Plant’, Moringa does not fall short of that promise while it has been labelled a super food with rising demands from all over the world.
